Privacy
Short version: we use your resume and the job ad only to give you your score and your tailored resume. We don't sell your data and we don't use it for advertising.
What we collect
- Your name and email address, which Google shares with us when you sign in with your Google account. We use them only to sign you in and to keep your credits and results in your account. We never see your Google password.
- Your resume and the job ad. The free match score is calculated in your browser; nothing is uploaded for it. When you choose to tailor, the text is sent to our server and processed to produce your result.
- Your tailored results (the rewritten resume, cover letter and report), so you can download them again later.
- Order records: what you bought, the amount, and the payment reference from Sifalo Pay. We never see or store your card number.
- Basic technical data such as IP address, used only to prevent abuse (rate limiting).
Who processes it
- Google Gemini API performs the AI rewrite. Your resume text and the job ad are sent to it for that purpose only.
- Groq API performs the AI rewrite instead of Gemini for visitors in the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland, and as a backup if Gemini is unavailable. It receives the same text, for the same purpose only.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page visits without cookies and without tracking you across sites.
- Google Sign-In confirms who you are when you sign in.
- Supabase stores your account, credits, orders and saved results.
- Cloudflare hosts the website and runs our server code.
- Sifalo Pay processes payments on its own secure checkout page.
What we keep, and for how long
When you tailor, we keep a structured copy of your resume's content and the job requirements (needed to produce your result and let you re-run it with new answers), a fingerprint of the original inputs so a paid session can't be reused for a different job, and the tailored result. Your draft inputs are also saved in your own browser so you don't lose them while signing in or paying. You can delete any saved result, and everything kept with it, from your account at any time. To delete your account entirely, email us and we'll remove it.
Your choices
You can use the free score without an account. You can ask us for a copy of your data or ask us to delete it by emailing [email protected].
