SubMac Check my resume

Resume tailoring · pay once

Paste the job ad. Get a resume that gets past the screening software.

Most applications are filtered by keyword-matching software before a person reads them. SubMac checks your resume against the exact ad, then rewrites it to match — using only what you've actually done.

Example edit

“CI/CD” is in the ad. Your GitHub Actions work proves it, so we used their word.

Not added: the ad asks for AWS. It isn't in your resume, so we left it out and told you.

How it works

Three steps. About two minutes.

  1. 01

    Paste the job ad

Copy the full description from LinkedIn, Indeed or the company site. The more complete, the better the match.

  2. 02

    Add your resume

Upload a PDF or Word file, or paste the text. It's read in your browser for the free score.

  3. 03

See your score, then tailor it

Your match score and missing keywords are free. Tailoring costs $1 and gives you a ready-to-send PDF and Word file.

What you get

Not just a rewrite. A report you can check.

Every tailored resume comes with its working: the score before and after, every keyword found or missing, each change and the reason for it, and the requirements you don't meet yet.

We never add a job, a title, a date, a degree or a number you didn't give us. If a bullet needs a figure, we ask you for it.

What we changed and why

  • Led with the shipment-tracking API workThe ad asks for logistics domain experience.
  • Added “CI/CD” to your GitHub Actions bulletExact term the screening software looks for; your work supports it.
  • Moved PostgreSQL and SQL to the top of SkillsListed as a must-have.

Honest gaps

The ad requires AWS (ECS, S3, RDS). It's not in your resume, so we didn't add it. If you have used it, add it to your resume and run it again.

Questions

Straight answers.

Is this really a one-time payment?

Yes. You pay once for credits and that's it. There's no subscription, no trial that turns into a charge, and we never store your card, so we couldn't charge you again even if we wanted to.

What is “screening software” (ATS)?

Most companies use an applicant tracking system to collect applications. Recruiters search and filter it by keywords from the job ad, so a resume that describes the right experience in different words can be skipped. SubMac makes sure the words they search for are in your resume, wherever your experience supports them.

Will it make things up?

No. Your employers, job titles, dates and education are copied from your resume, not rewritten. Every new bullet must come from one of yours, and any number or tool that isn't in your resume is automatically removed. A second check reviews every line for exaggeration. If a requirement isn't in your resume, we tell you instead of adding it.

Does it guarantee interviews?

No one can honestly promise that. What we do is make sure your real experience is described in the words the employer is searching for, in a format the software can read.

Which files can I use?

PDF and Word (.docx) files with real text, or plain pasted text. Scanned images of a resume can't be read; paste the text instead.

What happens to my resume?

The free score runs entirely in your browser. When you tailor, your resume and the job ad are sent to our server and to Google's Gemini AI to do the rewrite. We keep the tailored result in your account so you can download it again, and you can delete it at any time. We don't sell your data. See the privacy policy.

How do I pay?

Through Sifalo Pay's hosted checkout with Visa or Mastercard (and supported mobile wallets). Prices are in US dollars.

What if something goes wrong?

If the AI step fails, your credit is returned automatically. For anything else, email us and a real person will reply.

See how well your resume matches. It's free.
