SubMac / Free ATS resume checker
Free tool · no sign-up
Free ATS resume checker, against the real job ad.
Generic resume scanners grade you against nothing in particular. SubMac compares your resume with the exact ad you’re applying to and shows the words the employer will search for that you haven’t used.

Questions
Is the ATS resume checker really free?
Yes. The match score and the list of missing keywords are free, with no sign-up and no card. You only pay ($1) if you want SubMac to rewrite the resume for that job.
Is my resume uploaded for the free score?
No. The free score runs in your browser. Your resume is only sent to our server if you choose to tailor it.
What does the match score measure?
How many of the important words and phrases in the job ad appear in your resume. It’s a guide to how a keyword search would see you, not a promise of an interview.
Which files work?
PDF and Word (.docx) files with real text, or pasted text. Scanned images can’t be read.
