SubMac / AI resume builder
No resume yet? Start here New
Build your resume by answering simple questions.
No resume yet, or starting over? SubMac asks one question at a time, explains why each one matters, and writes a clean, ATS-safe resume using only what you tell it. No invented jobs, skills or numbers.
How it works
- Pick your target job and the country you’re applying in.
- Answer one question per screen: contact details, experience, education, skills, languages and a one-line pitch. Every question says why we ask it, and every box shows an example.
- No work history? It asks about internships, volunteering, a family business, freelance work and school projects instead. Those count as experience when they’re written well.
- Optional: paste a job ad and your resume is matched to that employer’s wording, only where your answers back it up.
- See it free in one of 12 templates (6 ATS-safe, 6 stylish). Pay $1 only if you want the clean PDF and Word files.
Honest by design
- Only what you say. Employers, titles, dates and schools are copied from your answers.
- A number appears only if you typed it. If an answer is vague, we ask you for a real figure, and never guess one.
- Every line is checked against your answers, and a second review tones down anything exaggerated.
- Your answers are saved as you go, so a dropped connection loses nothing.
Built for first jobs and fresh starts
Students, graduates and anyone changing careers often have more to show than they think. A shop shift in the family business, a volunteer role or a final-year project can all become clear, specific lines that a recruiter reads in seconds.

Questions
Is the AI resume builder free?
Building and previewing your resume is free (2 free previews per account), with a watermark. Downloading the clean PDF and Word files costs $1, paid once, or $5 for 3 resumes and 3 cover letters. There is no subscription.
What if I have no work experience?
Choose “None” and the builder asks about internships, volunteering, family business, freelance work and school projects instead, then puts your education first.
Will it make things up to fill gaps?
No. It only writes what you told it. If something is vague, it asks you for a real number or detail, and leaves it out if you don’t know.
Do my answers get saved?
Yes. Answers save as you type, on your device, and in your account once you sign in.
Can I use the same credits to tailor a resume later?
Yes. One credit is one resume, built or tailored.
Your first resume, written from your own answers.
