SubMac / Free tools / Split PDF & extract pages
Split a PDF or keep just the pages you need.
Choose a PDF, type the pages to keep (like 1-3, 5) and download. Or split every page into its own file.
Files never leave your device. Everything happens in your browser.
How it works
Three steps. That’s it.
- 01
Choose a PDF
Drop it in. We show how many pages it has.
- 02
Pick the pages
Type pages like “1-3, 5”, or split every page or every few pages.
- 03
Download
Get one PDF, or a ZIP with the separate files.
Questions
Good to know.
How do I write the pages?
Use commas and dashes: “1-3, 5” keeps pages 1, 2, 3 and 5. “4-” means page 4 to the end. Pages come out in the order you type them, so “3, 1” puts page 3 first.
Are my files uploaded?
No. The PDF is split by your browser on your device, and nothing is sent anywhere.
Why do I get a ZIP file?
When you split into several files, we bundle them into one ZIP so your browser doesn’t block a pile of downloads. Open it to see each PDF.
Does it lower the quality?
No. Pages are copied as they are; nothing is re-compressed.
Can I remove pages instead?
Yes: type the pages you want to keep. To drop page 2 of a 10-page file, type “1, 3-10”.
