SubMac

SubMac / Free tools / QR code maker

Make a QR code in seconds.

Type a link, Wi-Fi details or a contact, pick your colours and download a sharp PNG or SVG. It never expires.

Runs in your browser. Nothing you type is uploaded.

What should it open?

Scan with your phone camera to test it.

How it works

Three steps. That’s it.

  1. 01

    Choose what it opens

A link, some text, a Wi-Fi network or a contact card.

  2. 02

    Fill in and style

The code updates as you type. Pick colours that keep good contrast.

  3. 03

    Download

PNG for screens and documents, SVG for print and design.

Questions

Good to know.

Will my QR code expire?

Never. The information is stored in the code itself, not on a server, so it keeps working forever and nobody can switch it off.

Which download should I use?

PNG works everywhere: documents, slides, social posts. SVG stays sharp at any size, so use it for posters, menus and print.

Why doesn’t my coloured code scan?

Scanners need contrast: a dark code on a light background. Very light codes, or light codes on dark backgrounds, may not scan. We warn you when contrast is low.

How does the Wi-Fi code work?

Guests point their phone camera at it and tap to join, without typing the password. The password is inside the code, so only show it to people you’d tell it to.

Is anything tracked?

No. The code is made in your browser and links straight to what you entered, with no redirect or tracking.
